Summary
Product identification
The ULP3012-500 is an Ultra Low Pressure Membrane Element from the ULP Series, independently developed by Vontron.
Application
This RO element is designed for treating low-salinity water sources, such as tap water and well water, operating under extra low pressure. It is applicable to:
- Residential water purifiers.
- Hospital and laboratory water purification devices.
- Treatment of centralized water supply and underground water.
Product performance
- Model: ULP3012-500
- Permeate Flow: 500 GPD (1.89 m³/d)
- Note: Each membrane element may have ±15% variation of permeate flow.
- Rejection Rate: 98%
- Note: Rejection Rate ±2%.
- Min. Rejection: 96%
- Permeate Flow: 500 GPD (1.89 m³/d)
- Testing Conditions:
- Testing Pressure: 100 psi (0.69 MPa)
- Temperature of Testing Solution: 25℃
- Concentration of Testing Solution (NaCl): 250 ppm
- pH of Testing Solution: 6.5~8.5
- Recovery of Single Element: 50%
Important information
- Preservation: Dry membrane elements have no preservation solution before leaving the factory. Wet membrane elements use 1.0% sodium bisulfite (with 10% propylene glycol antifreeze added in winter) as a preservation solution and are vacuum packaged.
- Storage: Dry membrane elements must be kept wet after soaking. Wet membrane elements not used for extended periods require preservation solution.
- Initial Flushing:
- Recommended low-pressure flush for 15-25 minutes (do not soak overnight).
- Followed by a high-pressure flush for 60-90 minutes (water flow should not be less than 50% of the system design flow).
- Permeate and concentrated water from the first hour of initial operation should be discharged.
- Chemicals: The addition of any chemicals that may affect the membrane element during storage and operation is prohibited.
- Warranty: The operating limits and guidelines provided are part of the limitations of the three-year warranty.
- Refer to the Product Manual for details on installation, commissioning, storage, and transportation.
