Summary
Product identification
- Model: ULP3012-800
- Series: ULP Series
- Description: Ultra Low Pressure Membrane Element
Application
This element is designed for the treatment of low-salinity water resources such as tap water and well water, operating under extra low pressure. It is applicable to water purifying devices for residence, hospitals, and laboratories. It can also be used to treat centralized water supply and underground water sources.
Product performance
Performance is based on the following testing conditions: 100 psi (0.69 MPa) testing pressure, 25℃ testing solution temperature, 250 ppm NaCl concentration, pH 6.5~8.5, and 50% recovery of single element.
- Model: ULP3012-800
- Permeate Flow: 800 GPD (3.02 m³/d)
- Note: Each membrane element may have ±15% variation of permeate flow.
- Rejection Rate: 97%
- Note: Rejection Rate ±2%.
- Minimum Rejection: 95%
Mechanical / hydraulic
- Product Size (mm):
- A: 298
- B: 73
- C: 17
- D1: 15
- D2: 22
Important information
- Preservation:
- Dry membrane elements are shipped without preservation solution.
- Wet membrane elements contain 1.0% sodium bisulfite (with 10% propylene glycol antifreeze added in winter) as preservation solution and are vacuum packaged.
- Dry membrane elements must be maintained wet after soaking.
- Wet membrane elements not used for a long period require preservation solution soaking.
- Initial Flush Procedure:
- It is recommended to flush the membrane element first for 15-25 minutes at low pressure.
- Then, flush for 60-90 minutes at high pressure (the water flow should not be less than 50% of the system design water flow).
- The permeate water and concentrated water produced during the first hour of initial operation must be discharged.
- Warranty: The operating limits and operational guidelines provided in the technical information are part of the limitations for the three-year warranty on the membrane element.
- Chemical Use: The addition of any chemicals that may affect the membrane element during storage and operation is prohibited.
- Further Details: Please refer to the Product Manual for detailed information on installation, commissioning, storage, and transportation of membrane elements.
