Summary

Product identification

The ULP3013-800 is an Ultra Low Pressure Membrane Element from the ULP Series, independently developed by VONTRON.

Application

This RO element is designed for treating low-salinity water sources, including:

  • Tap water
  • Well water
  • Centralized water supply
  • Underground water It is suitable for water purification devices in:
  • Residential settings
  • Hospitals
  • Laboratories

Product performance

  • Model: ULP3013-800
  • Permeate Flow: 800 GPD (3.02 m³/d)
    • Note: Each membrane element may have ±15% variation of permeate flow.
  • Rejection Rate: 97%
    • Note: Rejection Rate ±2%.
  • Minimum Rejection: 95%

Testing Conditions:

  • Testing Pressure: 100 psi (0.69 MPa)
  • Temperature of Testing Solution: 25℃
  • Concentration of Testing Solution (NaCl): 250 ppm
  • pH of Testing Solution: 6.5~8.5
  • Recovery of Single Element: 50 %

Mechanical / hydraulic

The physical dimensions are provided as follows:

  • A: 333 mm
  • B: 67.8 mm
  • C: 17 mm
  • D1: 15 mm
  • D2: 20 mm

Important information

  • Preservation:
    • Dry membrane elements leave the factory without preservation solution.
    • Wet membrane elements contain 1.0% sodium bisulfite (with an additional 10% propylene glycol antifreeze in winter) as a preservation solution and are vacuum-packaged.
    • Dry membrane elements, once soaked, must always be maintained wet.
    • Wet membrane elements not in use for extended periods require soaking in preservation solution.
  • Initial Flush:
    • First, flush for 15-25 minutes at low pressure (do not soak overnight).
    • Then, flush for 60-90 minutes at high pressure (water flow must be at least 50% of the system design flow).
    • The permeate and concentrated water from the first hour of initial operation must be discharged.
  • Warranty: The operating limits and guidelines in the technical information are part of the limitations for the three-year warranty on the membrane element.
  • Chemicals: The addition of any chemicals that may affect the membrane element during storage or operation is prohibited. VONTRON Technology is not liable for consequences arising from the use of such chemicals.
  • Further Details: Refer to the Product Manual for detailed information on installation, commissioning, storage, and transportation of membrane elements.
