Summary

Product identification

The VNF1-4040 is a Water Treatment Nanofiltration Membrane Element from the VNF Series, primarily used for the purification of drinking water and industrial water, and the treatment of waste water. Specific applications include deep purification of direct drinking water, packaging water, and food water.

Important information

  • Preservation: Dry membrane elements do not contain preservation solution. Wet membrane elements are supplied with 1.0% sodium bisulfite (and 10% propylene glycol antifreeze in winter) as a preservation solution, and are vacuum packaged. Dry elements must remain wet after initial soaking. Wet elements not in use for extended periods require preservation solution.
  • Initial Startup: It is recommended to flush the membrane at low pressure for 15-25 minutes, followed by high-pressure flushing for 60-90 minutes (with water flow not less than 50% of the system design flow). Permeate and concentrated water from the first hour of initial operation must be discharged.
  • Chemicals: The addition of any chemicals that may affect the membrane element during storage and operation is prohibited.
  • Warranty: The operating limits and guidelines provided are part of the limitations for the three-year membrane element warranty.
  • Manual: Refer to the Product Manual for detailed information on installation, commissioning, storage, and transportation.
