Summary

Product identification

The ZERO-UHP120 is an ultra-high pressure reverse osmosis membrane element from the ZERO series. It is designed for extreme concentration and reduction stages of Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) technology, suitable for concentrating and reducing high salt wastewater.

The product is developed for brine concentrations of 35,000-70,000 ppm TDS.

Product Performance Specifications

  • Connector material number: 3.02.09.0002

Storage and Startup Notes

  • Dry membrane elements are shipped without preservation solution. Wet membrane elements use 1.0% sodium bisulfite as a preservation solution (with 10% propylene glycol antifreeze added in winter) and are vacuum packaged.
  • Dry membrane elements must be maintained wet after initial soaking. Wet membrane elements not in use for a long time require a preservation solution soak.
  • For initial use, flush the membrane element for 15-25 minutes at low pressure (do not soak overnight), then flush for 60-90 minutes at high pressure (water flow not less than 50% of the system design flow).
  • The permeate water and concentrated water produced during the first hour of initial operation should be discharged.
  • The operating limits and guidelines are part of the limitations of the three-year membrane element warranty.
  • Adding chemicals that may affect the membrane during storage or operation is prohibited; Vontron Technology will not be liable for consequences from such use.
  • Refer to the Product Manual for detailed instructions on installation, commissioning, storage, and transportation.
