Summary
Product Identification
The ZERO-XS90 is a series of nanofiltration separation membrane elements, part of the ZERO Liquid Discharge (ZLD) - ZERO series. It is a highly selective, fouling-resistant nanofiltration membrane product.
Application
This product is developed for low-energy consumption resource recycling, specifically targeting sodium chloride and sodium sulfate. It is suitable for the selective separation of high pollution concentrated brine with TDS 35000-70000 ppm in zero liquid discharge processes.
Key applications include:
- Chlor-alkali industries.
- Desulfurization wastewater treatment.
- Removal of sodium sulfate from dyeing wastewater.
- Separation of monovalent and divalent salts in printing and dyeing wastewater.
Product Performance
| Model | Stable Rejection Rate (%) | Permeate Flow GPD (m³/d) | Active Membrane Area ft² (m²) | Feed Spacer Thickness mil |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ZERO-XS90 | 99.0 | 8300 (31.4) | 400 (37.2) | 34 |

- Maximum feedwater temperature: 45 ℃
- Maximum inlet flow rate: 17 m³/h
- Maximum concentration of free chlorine: 0.1 mg/L
- Maximum pressure drop per element: 15 psi (0.1 MPa)
- Allowed pH range for feedwater in operation: 3-10
- Allowed pH range for chemical cleaning: 1-13
- Maximum feedwater SDI₁₅: 5
Handling and Storage
- Dry membrane elements are shipped without preservation solution. Wet membrane elements use 1.0% sodium bisulfite (with 10% propylene glycol antifreeze in winter) as preservation solution and are vacuum packaged.
- Dry membrane elements must always be maintained wet after soaking. Wet membrane elements not in use for extended periods require preservation solution.
- For first-time use, flush at low pressure for 15-25 minutes, then at high pressure for 60-90 minutes (water flow not less than 50% of system design).
- The permeate and concentrated water from the first hour of initial operation should be discharged.
- The operating limits and guidelines mentioned in this document are part of the limitations for the three-year warranty on the membrane element.
- The addition of any chemicals that may affect the membrane element during storage and operation is prohibited.
- Refer to the Product Manual for detailed instructions on installation, commissioning, storage, and transportation.
Dimensions and Packaging
- Packing carton (L:W:H): 1080×216×232mm
- Connector material number: 3.02.09.0006
