Summary
Product identification
The GDPES-Series DuoGrade™ Serial Layer Polyethersulfone Filter Cartridges feature a Microglass prefiltration layer and are designed for extended life and excellent retention. This serial construction makes them ideal for clarifying particulate-heavy solutions in various food/beverage, pharmaceutical, biological, and chemical applications. They offer excellent flowrates, low pressure drops, and superior throughput volumes, suitable for use as final filters or to protect downstream sterilizing grade cartridges.
Each cartridge is flushed with 18 megaohm High Purity deionized water and integrity tested to ensure clean effluent with low extractables. They are designed to tolerate repeated hot water sanitization and in-situ steam sterilization cycles for maximum service life.
Typical Applications:
- Wine, Beer, & Spirits
- Bottled Water, Juices, Soft Drinks
- Cell Culture Media
- Large Volume Parenterals
- Bulk Pharmaceutical Solutions
Operating limits
- Recommended Change Out ΔP: 35 PSID
- Maximum Temperature: 176˚F (80˚C)
- Maximum Differential Pressure: 50 PSID (3.4 bar) at 68˚F (20˚C)
Product water
After flushing, the cartridges deliver clean effluent with low extractables.
