Summary

Product identification

GMBV-Series Multi-Bag Vessels are designed for high flow and/or high contaminant load applications where clean effluent is critical.

Operating limits

  • Pressure Rating: 150 PSI @ 250°F

Mechanical / hydraulic

  • Construction Materials: 304 or 316 stainless steel
  • Sealing Design:
    • Snap-fit V-ring bag seal design (positive snap-fit to ensure against bypass)
    • Single o-ring seal (Buna-N standard)
  • Connections: RF Flanged “inline” inlet/outlet connections
  • Support Baskets: Stainless steel (9/64” standard)
  • Closure Mechanism:
    • Bearing-assisted hand-wheel closure
    • Easy-access eye-nut/swing-bolt closure
    • Permanent compression/hold-down plate
  • Mounting: Heavy-duty welded angle mounting/support legs
  • Ports: Gauge Ports, Clean Drain, Vent Port
  • Maximum Flow Rates (water, without filter bags installed):
    • GMBV430: 600 GPM
    • GMBV630: 1200 GPM
    • GMBV830: 1600 GPM
    • GMBV1230: 2400 GPM
    • Note: These flow rates are for vessels without filter bags installed and using water. Any increase in viscosity and/or the installation of filter bags will significantly reduce these flow rates.

Certifications and Options

  • Options:
    • ASME Code Stamp
    • CE Mark (Stainless Steel only)
    • Mesh-lined/perforated baskets
    • Alternate Seal Materials:
      • EPDM (required for NSF-61)
      • Teflon® Encapsulated Viton®
      • Viton®
  • NSF Certification: Applies for use only with drinking water. Only products bearing the NSF Mark on the product, product packaging, and/or documentation shipped with the product are Certified. Product options denoted with an asterisk are not included in the Certification.
