Summary
Product identification
The AUTO-LINE® Hygienic Self-Cleaning Filters are designed for improved productivity and hygiene in the food industry. These filters comply with EC1935/2004 for materials with food contact and FDA standards for polymers and elastomers with food contact. HiFlux Filtration A/S is registered by the Danish Food Administration. The design respects the hygienic design recommendations of the European Hygienic Equipment Design Group (EHEDG).
Operating limits

Features and Design
- Hygienic Design: Designed to prevent bacteria build-up and facilitate easy cleaning.
- CIP-friendly: Minimal crevices and dead space for efficient Clean-In-Place processes.
- Closed System: Prevents ingress of foreign particles, ensuring product quality and safety.
- Hygienic Sealing Box: Modular design with O-rings in EPDM, Viton, or other EC 1935/2004 compliant elastomers.
- Scraper Systems: Available with rotating PEEK scraper knives or linear single/double-acting PEEK scrapers.
- Optional Sluice System: Features 2 drain valves to reduce media loss and prevent pressure drops.
- Optional Heating Jacket: Maintains a fixed media temperature for product quality and process flow.
- Extended Cylinder: In linear cleaning applications, the piston rod does not contact the media, preventing cross-contamination and bacteria build-up in the pneumatic cylinder.
