Summary

Product Identification

The HiFlux KS-137 filters are compact self-cleaning filters designed for a wide range of applications, including cleaning liquids such as tung oil, lubricating oil, bitumen, grease, paint, toothpaste, water, fermentation liquids, petrol, syrup, condensate, CIP liquids, and antibiotic suspensions. They are suitable for continuous operation without flow interruption.

  • Material:
    • Filter supplied in acid-proof stainless steel EN 1.4404.
    • Filter element fully welded in stainless acid-proof steel EN 1.4404.

Operating Limits

  • Design pressure: 16 bar
  • Test pressure: According to EN 13445
  • Max. differential pressure: 2.5 bar (8 bar)
  • Max. working temperature: 110° C (water) or according to customer requirements
  • Filtration range: 50, 100, 130, 250, 500, 1000, 2000, 3000 micron
  • Capacity range: 25 - 100 m³/h (at 1 cSt viscosity and as a pressure filter)
  • Minimum system positive pressure: 0.1 bar (for efficient sludge removal)

Mechanical / Hydraulic

The filtration principle uses an asymmetric edge-gap element, retaining dirt particles on the filter element surface. During cleaning, the filter insert rotates, and three fixed blades scrape dirt into a sludge chamber for drainage. This process allows continuous flow with only a minor reduction (5-10%) during drainage, which typically lasts 1-3 seconds.

  • Drainage connection: DN 50/80
  • Air vent connection: G1/4B
  • Flange connection: EN 1092-1/11
