Summary

Product identification

Pall Claris® Series Filter Cartridges are High Consistency Polypropylene Melt Blown Cartridges featuring:

  • Graded pore structure for enhanced dirt-holding capacity
  • E-core, an Extruded Fibrous Core, for excellent strength
  • Unique proprietary process
  • Easy and safe cartridge incineration and disposal
  • All polypropylene construction
  • No surfactants, binders, or adhesives
  • NSF certified (Note: Some components are not NSF certified, see below)
  • Plastic and metal spring assembly end configurations are available

Operating limits

  • Filter grades: 1, 3, 5, 10, 20, 30, 50, 75 µm
  • Maximum differential pressure:
    • 3.45 bard (50 psid) @ 20˚C (68˚F)
    • 1.72 bard (25 psid) @ 60˚C (140˚F)
  • Recommended change-out differential pressure: 2.4 bard (35 psid) (Provided maximum differential pressure is not exceeded based on temperature limits)

Product water

Cartridges do not use surfactants, anti-static agents, binders, and adhesives.

Typical Flow vs. Differential Pressure for Application Sizing A graph is provided for a 25.4 cm (10 in) cartridge, showing flow rate (gpm, lpm) versus differential pressure (psid, bard) for water at 20°C (68°F) across various filter grades (1, 3, 5, 10, 20, 30, 50, 75 µm). For liquids other than water, multiply differential pressure by fluid viscosity (cP).
