Particle Retention
The removal rating of any filtration device will depend on conditions such as fluid nature, viscosity, flow rate, contaminant type, and temperature. The DOP test measures the filter's ability to capture fine particles in air or gas, representing removal efficiencies with respect to an aerosol dispersion of 0.3 µm Dioctyl Phthalate (DOP) particles.
