Summary

Product Identification

Pall Profile® UP Filters are 63.5 mm (2.5 in) diameter pleated polypropylene cartridges. These absolute-rated filters combine Pall's Ultipleat® technology with Profile depth filter media, featuring a proprietary construction with continuously varying fiber diameter to create a tapered pore medium and a crescent-shaped pleat structure.

Key characteristics:

  • Filter Type: Absolute-rated pleated depth filter.
  • Material: Polypropylene for wide chemical compatibility, allowing for cartridge incineration. P and W options are constructed entirely of FDA-listed materials.
  • Design:
    • Thicker than conventional pleated filters.
    • Optimized for gel removal and sharp, distinct particle removal.
    • Low pressure drop: up to one-fifteenth that of conventional depth filters and half that of higher area pleated filters with the same removal ratings.
    • Exceptional service life.
  • Application: Ideal for viscous fluids, dispersions, and applications requiring long service life.
  • Rating Method: Absolute rating based on the modified Oklahoma State University (OSU) F-2 Filter Performance (Beta Rating) Test.

Operating Limits
