Performance Specifications
- Filter Grades (>99.9% Retention Rating by ASTM F-795 Test): 0.5, 1, 3, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 70, 90, 120 micron (µm)
Liquid Retention Ratings (µm):
| Cartridge Designation | 99.9% Efficiency | 90% Efficiency |
|---|---|---|
| MPNA 0.5 | 0.5 | < 0.5 |
| MPNA 1 | 1 | 1 |
| MPNA 3 | 3 | 2 |
| MPNA 5 | 5 | 4 |
| MPNA 10 | 10 | 5 |
| MPNA 20 | 19 | 13 |
| MPNA 30 | 27 | 18 |
| MPNA 40 | 36 | 20 |
| MPNA 50 | 46 | 27 |
| MPNA 70 | 65 | 42 |
| MPNA 90 | 85 | 55 |
| MPNA 120 | 105 | 65 |
Liquid retention ratings are based on Pall’s Dynamic Efficiency test protocol (single pass, destructive challenge test based on ASTM F795). Fine test dust is used for 0.5 to 20 micron range filters; coarse test dust for ratings above 20 micron.

Compliance
- FDA Listed Materials: Manufactured from materials listed by FDA for food contact applications per Title 21 of the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations.
- Toxicity: All polypropylene components (gaskets excluded) meet specifications for biological safety as per USP for Class VI-50˚C plastics.
Autoclaving
Multiple autoclaving for 30 minutes at 250˚F (121˚C) under no end load conditions is permitted, provided cores are inserted. Elements should be cooled to normal system operating temperatures prior to use. In-line steam sterilization is not recommended.
Flow Rate vs. Differential Pressure
Typical Flow vs. Differential Pressure curves are provided in the datasheet for application sizing, presented for water at 68˚F (20˚C).
- Graphs show flow rates (gpm, lpm) against differential pressure (psid, bar) for different micron ratings.
- One graph covers 0.5 µm to 20 µm.
- Another graph covers 30 µm to 120 µm. See the official PDF for exact tabulated values and graphical representations.
