Summary

Product identification

The Marksman™740 Series filter element is a direct retrofit for the industrial 740 format. This series offers an optimized, axial pleat geometry designed for high-efficiency, low flux, and exceptional dirt-holding capacity, leading to long on-stream life and low differential pressure. Key features include broad chemical compatibility and economy of use.

Two media options are available:

  • Poly-Fine® XLD Media: An Extended Life Depth media optimized for large cartridge geometry filters. It combines depth media performance in a pleated format, constructed entirely of polypropylene for wide chemical and service compatibility.
  • Poly-Fine II Media: Ideal for true surface filtration, offering optimum high dirt-holding capacity in a pleated filter geometry. Also constructed entirely of polypropylene, providing versatility and broad chemical compatibility.

These filters are manufactured in ISO 9001 facilities using advanced melt-blown media, featuring proprietary processes for unsurpassed consistency, high void volume (over 80% void space) for high dirt-holding capacity, and a broad range of chemical compatibility.

Operating limits

  • Maximum Operating Differential Pressure: 3.4 bard (50 psid) @ 79°C (175°F)

Mechanical / hydraulic

The Marksman 740 Series filter element provides an intrinsic 360-degree positive seal utilizing a 226 O-ring for direct fit into existing vessels.
