Summary
Product identification
Pentair® Pentek® FloPlus™ Cartridges are modified molded carbon block cartridges designed for small particle reduction at high flow rates. They offer low pressure drops and are suitable for whole house water treatment.
Features & Benefits
- Reduces particles as small as 0.5 micron by mechanical means.
- NSF/ANSI Standard 53 certified to reduce cysts such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia by mechanical means.
- Premium dirt holding capacity.
- Outstanding chlorine taste & odor reduction.
- True depth filtration.
- High flow rates and low pressure drop similar to a nominal 10-micron cartridge.
- Maximum life – dirt holding ability of a 10-micron carbon block with the particulate efficiency of a 0.5-micron cartridge.
- Features Fibredyne™ technology.
Operating limits
- Temperature Rating: 40-180°F (4.4-82.2°C)
Materials of Construction
- Filter Media: Bonded PAC
- Endcaps: Polypropylene
- Netting: Polyethylene
- Gaskets: Santoprene

Certifications
- NSF/ANSI Standard 53 certified to reduce cysts such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia.
- EPA EST. NO. 086074-NH-001
Important Notes
- Cartridges may contain a very small amount of carbon fines (very fine black powder). After installation, flush the cartridge to remove fines before using the water.
- Flush the tap for at least 20 seconds prior to using water for drinking or cooking purposes, especially if the tap has not been used daily.
- WARNING: Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
