Summary

Product identification

L66 Single Liquid Bag Housings are designed to effectively remove dirt, pipe scale, and other substances from process liquids. They are engineered to ensure clean effluent and protection for downstream equipment. Unfiltered liquid enters above the filter bag or strainer basket, fills the housing interior, and passes through the bag or basket, trapping solids inside.

Operating limits

  • Flow rates: Up to 100 gpm (378.5 Lpm)
  • Pressure ratings: 150 PSI (10.3 bar) and 300 PSI (20.7 bar)
  • Operating temperature: 150 psi @ 300˚F (10.3 bar @ 148.9˚C)

Mechanical / hydraulic

  • Housing lengths available: 18” (457 mm) and 30” (762 mm)
  • Construction materials: Carbon Steel, 304 Stainless Steel, or 316 Stainless Steel
  • Housing finish:

Dimensions and Weights

Dimensions and weights are provided in tables for L66-18 and L66-30 models, varying by connection size. See the official PDF for exact tabulated values.

Basket Data

Basket depth, diameter, surface area, and volume are detailed in a table for 18" and 30" lengths. See the official PDF for exact tabulated values.

Flow Rate vs. Differential Pressure

A chart illustrates the relationship between flow rate and differential pressure for various connection sizes. See the official PDF for exact tabulated values.

Features & Benefits

  • Factory hydro-tested
  • Low pressure drop
  • Standard O-ring seal between the basket and housing for positive seal
  • Positive hold down spring

Options

  • Mesh-lined strainer baskets
  • Alternative O-ring materials
  • ASME code U or UM stamp
  • FKM seals for lid & basket
  • Differential, drain, and vent ports
  • 304 Stainless Steel strainer basket for 304 SS and Carbon Steel housings
  • 316 Stainless Steel strainer basket for 316 SS housings
  • Two-part epoxy paint finish on carbon steel housings, inside and outside
  • Adjustable support legs

Applications

  • Chemical
  • General Industrial
  • Oil and Gas
  • Water

Ordering Information

A part number configurator is available to specify housing length, basket size, connection type, outlet location, material, pressure rating, and ASME code stamp.

Important Note: Carbon steel is not recommended for water use, as its epoxy coating is not designed as a corrosion inhibitor.
