Summary
Product identification
This document describes the AQUALINE ALN20-60B cartridge filter element, designed for high-flow applications.
- Article Code: ALN20-60B
- Element Type: AQUALINE Fluid Process element
- Applications: Process water, wastewater, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, or other fluids for pre-filtration, guard filtration, or final filtration.
AquaLine systems are modular and can be configured for flow rates ranging from 50 gpm to 10,000 gpm. They can also be integrated with other modules like pumps, multi-media beds, adsorption, neutralization, and membrane modules.
Operating limits
- Recommended change out: 25-30 PSID (based on process limits)
- Maximum Operating Temperature: 130°F (54.4°C)
- For temperatures above 130°F (54.4°C) up to 180°F (82.2°C), contact Pentair.
Mechanical / hydraulic
The AquaLine system utilizes CodeLine corrosion-resistant FRP pressure vessels with a quick-opening closure that requires no tools for element access. Each housing accepts a single element, simplifying change-outs.
Filter Element Specifications
- Separation Media: Proprietary PolyForm media formulation comprised of 100% polypropylene micro-fibers cross-linked into a Locked Pore Structure.
- Media Efficiency: 20 micron (Nominal)
- End Caps: Nylon
- Seals: Buna-N O-Rings
- Components: PVC core
- Configuration: Single Open End; Outside-in Flowing
Dimensions
- Nominal Length: 60” (152.4cm)
- Nominal O. D.: 6.75” (17.15cm)
Pressure Curve
A pressure curve is provided, illustrating the Aqualine Cartridge Clean Water Differential Pressure Curves. It shows differential pressure (psid/mbard) versus flow rate (gpm/m³/h) for nominal 1µm, 5µm, 10µm, and 20µm elements. See the official PDF for exact tabulated values and graphical representation.
