  • End Caps: Polypropylene
  • Inner/Outer Wraps: Polyolefin
  • Netting: Polyethylene
  • Gaskets: Buna-N

Certifications

The CBC-10, CBC-20, CBC-BB and CBC-20BB models are Tested and Certified by NSF International to NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for material requirements only.

Important Notes

  • Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
  • Performance capacity depends on system design, flow rate, and other application conditions.
  • Cartridges may contain a small amount of carbon fines (fine black powder). A new cartridge should be flushed with sufficient water after installation to remove all traces of fines from your water system before use.
  • It is recommended to run (flush) the filtered water tap for at least 20 seconds prior to using water for drinking or cooking purposes.
