Product identification

The BIO-CEL® XL is described as the world's largest submerged BIO-CEL® MBR module, designed for biological wastewater treatment. It is specifically developed for large-scale applications with a total inflow to the MBR plant of > 2,000 m³/d of wastewater.

The module's housing and connections are made of stainless steel. First successful operation experiences in a municipal plant are available since August 2013.
