The MW series consists of industrial oil/water separation Ultrafiltration (UF) elements.
The M-series Ultrafillic membranes are made of polyacrylonitrile (PAN) polymer, characterized by:
- Pore size: 0.01 microns
- Approximate molecular weight cut-off: 20K-50K Dalton
MW–series elements are engineered to be extremely hydrophilic (water attracting) for fouling avoidance. They are used for oil/water separation and suspended solids removal, and as pretreatment for process water before reverse osmosis or nanofiltration.
