Treatment and Feeding Requirements

• Preparation: Add powder slowly to the vortex of agitated water. Can be prepared using a dry feeder or eductor. Do not add water to dry polymer.
• Maximum Solution Concentration: 0.5% by weight.
• Agitation: Air or low-speed (400 rpm) mechanical agitation until complete dissolution (1-2 hours).
• Degradation Avoidance: Avoid water temperatures exceeding 37°C and high shear agitation once the solution is prepared.
• Shelf Life: Dilute solutions should be used within 24 hours for maximum activity.
• Further Dilution:
  • For most applications: Dilute stock solution to approximately 0.05% by weight (10 to 1 ratio).
  • For dewatering applications: Dilution to approximately 0.25% often provides optimal performance.
