- Oily Wastewater Treatment: When used with SUEZ Rec-Oil program, it improves oil, water, and suspended solids separation in refinery, automotive, and steel mill applications.
- General Flocculation: Benefits any operation requiring fast-settling agglomerates or well-flocculated sludge.
Treatment and Feeding Requirements
- Preparation: Add powder slowly to the vortex of an agitated tank using a dry feeder or eductor. Do not add water to dry polymer.
- Maximum Solution Concentration: 0.5% by weight.
- Dissolution: Agitation (air or low speed, 400 rpm mechanical) required for one to two hours until complete dissolution.
- Degradation Avoidance: Do not exceed 37°C water temperature or use high shear agitation after dilution.
- Solution Shelf Life: Use dilute solutions within 24 hours for maximum activity.
- Further Dilution: For enhanced performance, dilute stock solution to approximately 0.05% by weight (10 to 1).
- Dewatering Applications: Dilution to approximately 0.25% often provides optimum performance.
