Treatment and Feeding Requirements

• Preparation: Add powder slowly to the vortex of agitated tank. Can be prepared using a dry feeder or eductor. Do not add water to dry polymer.
• Maximum solution concentration: 0.5% by weight.
• Dissolution: Complete in one to two hours with air or low speed (400 rpm) mechanical agitation.
• Degradation Avoidance: Avoid water temperatures in excess of 37°C and high shear agitation once dissolved.
• Solution Age: Dilute solutions recommended for use within 24 hours for maximum activity.
• Further Dilution:
  • General applications: Approximately 0.05% by weight (10 to 1 ratio).
  • Dewatering applications: Approximately 0.25% by weight for optimum performance.
• Treatment Levels: Depend on application-specific factors. To be used according to SUEZ established control procedures.
