BetzDearborn PQ682 is a precipitating boiler water treatment formulated from a unique blend of polymers, sequestrants, and inorganic precipitating agents. It functions by removing calcium hardness from boiler water as calcium phosphate and precipitating magnesium hardness as magnesium hydroxide and/or magnesium silicate.

The product is designed to:

  • Distort crystal growth and reduce suspended particle size.
  • Reduce the attraction between boiler tube walls and suspended particles.
