Description and Use

BioMate 5702 is an oxidising biocide used to control microbial populations in open evaporative cooling systems. Its application helps prevent biofouling, which can reduce heat transfer efficiency, increase energy costs, and cause microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC). It is also used in programmes to control Legionella bacteria.

Typical Applications

• Disinfectant, fungicide, and/or slimicide for commercial and industrial recirculating cooling water systems.
• May be used on a continuous or intermittent basis.
• Can be used in a programme with non-oxidising biocides.

Treatment and Feeding Requirements
