BioMate SAN9383 is a liquid surfactant-based product designed to assist in controlling microbiological fouling in food and beverage process systems. It enhances the performance of both oxidizing (e.g., chlorine, bromine, chlorine dioxide) and non-oxidizing biocides by improving their penetration into biofilms, leading to more effective biofilm growth control and removal. It is suitable for use in pasteurizers and pasteurizer cooling systems as part of a pre-disinfection cleaning stage.
Treatment and Feeding Requirements
- Application: Can be used continuously as part of a chemical treatment program with oxidizing biocides, or intermittently via shot dosing before biocide injection.
- Dosing: Proper treatment levels and frequency depend on system cleanliness, nutrient concentrations, temperature, microorganism types, pH, retention time, and other operating characteristics. Dosing should follow SUEZ established control procedures.
Compatible Materials
- Compatible: 316 and 304 stainless steel, mild steel, Teflon, polyvinylchloride (PVC), PVDF (Kynar), polypropylene (PP), high density cross linked polyethylene, and Litharge Viton.
- Avoid: Polyethylene (HDPE, LDPE).
