Applications include industrial membrane separation processes such as reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, and ultrafiltration.
Operating limits
- Effectively controls scales including:
- Calcium carbonate up to LSI +2.50
- Calcium sulphate
- Barium sulphate
- Strontium sulphate
- Compatible with all leading R.O. membranes.
- Maintains cleaner membrane surfaces by dispersing particulate foulants.
- Effective in feedwaters with a pH range of 5 - 9.
- Good tolerance to aluminum and iron oxides.
Treatment and feeding requirements
- Maximum dosage: 50 ppm
- Maximum dilution: 10% with RO permeate or DI water.
- Typical dosage range: 10 to 30 ppm.
- Can be fed neat or diluted.
- Recommended addition point: prior to the static mixer or cartridge filter housing.
- Dilution is recommended with RO permeate or DI water.
