Summary
Product identification
- Product name: Hypersperse* AF250UL
- Product type: Antiscalant / Antifoulant
Description and use
Hypersperse AF250UL is a liquid antiscalant/antifoulant designed to control scale precipitates and reduce particulate fouling in membrane separation systems. It is suitable for industrial applications including reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, and ultrafiltration. Proper use can lead to longer run times and extended element life.
Operating limits
- Controls scales including calcium carbonate up to LSI +3.0, calcium sulphate, barium sulphate, and strontium sulphate.
- Effective in feedwaters with a pH range of 5 - 9.
- Good tolerance to aluminum and iron oxides.
- Not suitable for use in producing potable water.
Feed water
- Compatible with all leading RO membranes.
Treatment and feeding requirements
- Can be fed neat or diluted.
- Dilution with RO permeate or DI water is recommended.
- Maximum dilution: 5% with RO permeate or DI water.
- Typical dosage range: 4 to 12 ppm.
- For maximum effectiveness, add prior to the static mixer or cartridge filter housing.
- Contact your local SUEZ representative to define the optimal feed point and dosage rate.
Packaging information
- Available in a variety of packages.
- Precautions should be taken to prevent freezing, as separation may occur. Product integrity may be restored by slow warming and agitation.
Safety precautions
- A Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) containing detailed information is available on request.
