Summary

Product identification

Hypersperse MSI410 is a liquid antiscalant/antifoulant.

Description and use

  • Certified for use in producing potable water (Certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 60).
  • Effectively controls silica scaling, as well as scales of calcium and sulfate.
  • May be fed neat or diluted.
  • Compatible with all of the leading RO and NF membranes.
  • Maintains cleaner membrane surfaces by dispersing particulate foulants.
  • Effective over a wide pH range.
  • Compatible with feed-waters that contain aluminum and iron oxides.

Hypersperse MSI410 is designed for silica scale and includes a proprietary SUEZ Water Technologies & Solutions polymer. It is an enhancement to Hypersperse MSI310.

Hypersperse MSI410 can control silica up to and exceeding 300 ppm under select conditions. The pH of the concentrate or brine stream must be controlled between 6.0 and 6.5 for optimum performance.

Dosing

  • Typical dosage range: 3 to 6 ppm (mg/L).
  • Maximum dosage for potable applications: 10 ppm (mg/L).

Contact your local SUEZ representative to define the optimal feed point and dosage rate.

Dilution Guidelines

  • On-site dilution is possible, but dilution to concentrations below 10% is generally not recommended.
  • Use high-quality water (permeate or deionized) for dilution.
  • Examine make-down tanks for microbial (MB) growth when feeding diluted product. If MB is observed, sanitize the tank and reduce batch size.
  • For best results, Hypersperse MSI410 should be fed neat.

Packaging information

Hypersperse MSI410 is a liquid material available in a variety of customized containers and delivery methods. Contact your SUEZ sales representative for details.
