Description and Use

Kleen BC9520 is designed to remove oil, grease, dirt, and other foreign materials from waterside boiler surfaces. It is primarily used for cleaning new systems before they are put into operation to ensure proper performance under load conditions. This treatment is an effective blend of alkaline cleaners, emulsifiers, and wetting agents suitable for cleaning heat exchange equipment.

Treatment and Feeding Requirements

• Dosage: 25 L (30 kg) per 1000 L of water in the system.
• Boil-out duration: Not less than 24 hours, generally not exceeding 72 hours.
• Application: Apply to a partially filled system.
• Heating: Increase temperature slowly after adding the treatment.
• Pressure: Maintain 50% pressure during the boil-out period. Alternate pressure to promote circulation.
• Blowdown: Blow down each valve every 4-8 hours.
• Post-treatment: Slowly cool the system, drain, and flush thoroughly with a high-pressure hose. Inspect for cleanliness and mechanical defects.
• Boiler boil-out recommendation: If used in a boiler boil-out, application of 1 part OptiSperse* ADJ8400 to 18 parts Kleen BC9520 is recommended.
