The formulation contains no added chlorides, making it safe for cleaning stainless steel equipment, including Types 304 and 316.

Kleen EG8666 is used in processes such as egg washing, where a cleaning solution is circulated from a holding tank. Holding tanks and other food processing equipment should be rinsed thoroughly with potable water after cleaning.
Treatment and feeding requirements
The appropriate solution strength for Kleen EG8666 depends on factors like the type and severity of fouling or scaling, and the process equipment. Normal treatment levels range from 1% to 5% in solution. The product is most effective when the treated water is heated to 150°F (65°C) and circulated for a sufficient duration.
