Description and use
MetClear MR2410 is a liquid precipitating agent designed for metals. It effectively reduces metal ions to low concentrations in wastewater. This product can be used as a polishing step after conventional metal precipitation methods, such as hydroxide precipitation, or as an alternative for precipitating higher levels of metal ions.

Treatment and feeding requirements
MetClear MR2410 can be added during the normal treatment process. It is miscible with water in all dilutions, allowing for adjustment to meet chemical feed pump capacity. Dilution water should have a near-neutral pH. The product can be applied neat to areas of high turbulence, such as the suction side of a pump.
After addition to a batch solution or continuous stream, treated water should be agitated to allow for reaction before the metal precipitate settles.
Materials compatibility:
- Recommended for tank construction: High-density cross-linked polyethylene (HDCLPE), polypropylene, or stainless steel (304 or 316).
- Recommended for tubing and fittings: Rigid PVC, stainless steel, HDCLPE, polypropylene, Viton, Buna N, and Tygon.
- Materials to avoid: Low carbon steel, brass, zinc, and other metals in piping and storage tank construction.
