Summary
Product identification
SoliSep MPT150 is a liquid organic coagulant designed to improve the efficiency of colloidal solids removal by sand and multimedia filters.
Description and use
This product is a high molecular weight organic coagulant intended for direct injection ahead of multimedia filters.
Typical applications
SoliSep MPT150 should be added prior to multimedia filters. It is compatible with Hypersperse MDC antiscalant/antifoulant products including MDC150, MDC220, MDC704, MDC714, MDC772, MDC775, and MDC776. Incompatible antiscalants or coagulants may cause severe membrane fouling.
Treatment and feeding requirements
- Typical dosage range: 2 to 10 mg/l
- Specific Gravity (for calculation): 1.05
- Dosing Example: For a system feed flow of 100 m³/day and a dosage of 4.0 mg/l, the required application rate is 0.4 kg/day, which translates to 0.38 litres/day.
Contact your SUEZ representative to define the optimal feed point and dosage rate.
Potable water certification
Certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 60 for use in potable water at a maximum use level of 50 ppm.
Product benefits
- Increases resistance to filter breakthrough.
- Minimises backwash waste.
Packaging information
SoliSep MPT150 is available in various container sizes, including 25 kg pails, 230 kg plastic drums, and 1100 kg semi-bulk containers.
Storage and handling
Precautions should be taken to prevent the liquid from freezing.
