Multiple Application Solution

The Process Monitoring System collects, archives, and displays process data from up to 32 units via an RS485 interface. Units can be visualized through web-capable devices like PCs or laptops via LAN or WLAN connection.

Requirements and Installation

• Web Browser: Standard web browser required (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox®, Google Chrome®, Apple Safari® supported).
• Connection to Wallace & Tiernan Units: Via RS485 interface. Instruments are automatically identified by Bus-Scan.
• Network Connections:
  • Direct connection via LAN on PC, laptop.
  • Connection via WLAN USB stick.
  • Ethernet: Configurable IP adjustment or DHCP 10/100 Base-T IEEE 802.3.
  • Internet: Via router/VPN connection.

Supported Units

• Wallace & Tiernan® units with RS485 interface (e.g., DEPOLOX® Pool E 700 P, DEPOLOX Pool, DEPOLOX Pool Compact, MFC, SFC, Barrier® M, OSEC®-NXT).
• Maximum of 32 bus addresses supported.
• RS485 bus cable length: 1200 m / 4000 ft max.

Interfaces

• Ethernet: 10/100 BaseT IEEE 802.3 (RJ45 connector).
• RS485 Port: For PMS bus device connection via screw terminals; termination is integrated and can be activated by a DIP switch.
• USB Port: For USB WIFI adapter.

• SMTP: Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SSL/TLS) for e-mail transmission.

Memory Card
