The Ezetrol® Touch controller is a disinfection controller designed to measure and control free chlorine concentration, pH, and temperature in pool water. Optional accessories allow for ORP and conductivity measurements.

Design and Function

The system features a pressurized flow cell accommodating up to four sensors. It includes an integrated "Multi-Sensor" for sample water flow and temperature monitoring, and a large water ground to mitigate electrical noise. A flow control valve maintains a constant sample water flow. Mechanical cleaning of the free chlorine sensor is achieved through quartz grit. An LED light stick in the flow cell indicates water chemistry status.

The controller utilizes a 4.3-inch color touchscreen display. Standard features include various controller outputs, alarm contacts, and five digital inputs. Optional features include four 0/4 – 20 mA outputs. Six freely assignable relay contacts can be configured as chemical feed or alarm outputs.

Safety functions include:

  • Alarm and chemical feed interruption triggered by the sample water flow switch.

  • Shutdown in case of supply-tank-empty alarm.
