The KSB Etachrom L is a range of standardised, close-coupled pumps designed to EN 733. These pumps are available in both fixed-speed and variable-speed versions, operating at 50 Hz or 60 Hz.

Coating and Preservation

  • Pump Casing: Without coating
  • Drive Lantern, Intermediate Piece: Cataphoretic coating
  • Primer (Type A1): Hydro-dip primer for steel and cast components, water-thinned, dry film thickness: 40-50 µm.
  • Top Coat (Type A1): Quick drying, water-thinned paint (acrylate alkyd combination) with anti-corrosive properties and lead-free pigmentation. Suitable for T up to 140 °C, dry film thickness: 60 µm.

Shaft Seal

  • Single mechanical seal to EN 12756.
  • Shaft is fitted with a replaceable shaft sleeve in the shaft seal area for sizes 080-065-250, 100-080-200, 100-080-250.

  • Discharge Cover: Available with anti-swirl baffles for applications with erosion risk.
  • Contact Guard: Coupling guard to ZN 79, made of sheet steel. A tread-proof version is available.
  • Coupling: Flexible coupling, Design N (without spacer sleeve, ZN 3207) or Design N-H (with spacer sleeve, ZN 3208).
  • Baseplates: Sectional steel (torsion-resistant) or cast iron to ZN 24259 (ISO 3661) for installation without foundation.
