  • Bearing Lubrication Requirement: In cases of poor lubricant, abrasives, or solids, an external suitable fluid (e.g., fresh clean water) must be provided for the friction bearing bushes.

Electrical

Mechanical / hydraulic

  • Design: Vertical, radially split volute casing pump, single entry, single stage, radial impeller. Impeller can be closed or semi-open, both equipped with renewable wearing ring or plate. Standard installation is vertical in non-pressurized tanks. Special executions for very low pressurized tanks are available on demand.
  • Materials:
    • Common materials include: Grey cast iron (JL 1040 / GJL-250), Cast chrome nickel molybdenum steel (CF8M / 1.4408), Tempering steel (F-114 / C45), Hot rolled chrome nickel molybdenum steel (AISI-316L / 1.4435), Cast chrome steel (CA6NM / 1.4313), Chrome nickel steel (AISI-431B / 1.4057), Special PTFE (TFM, Graphite charged), Steel (St 37.0, F-111 / C15).

  • Shaft Seal:
    • Standard: Lip seal
    • Options: Mechanical seal (cartridge or non-cartridge) or packing.
    • Specific sizes for mechanical seals (e.g., Ø 50 mm, 65 mm, 75 mm) and gland packing (e.g., 8 x 1000 mm) are available in the technical data tables for each pump size.
  • Bearings / Lubrication:
    • External angular contact ball bearings (above the plate), grease lubricated, with external grease nipples.
    • TFM (Special PTFE, Graphite charged) product lubricated friction bearing bushes in pump cover and intermediate column bearing supports.
    • An electric driven grease pump can be supplied as an option.
    • Specific ball bearing types (e.g., 2 x 7307, 2 x 7310, 6314 + 2 x 7314) and friction bearing bush types (e.g., 28/03, 40/02, 55/01, 55/02, 65/01, 65/02, 650/1) are detailed in the technical data tables for each pump size.
