Summary

Product identification

The Compact LOW3 elements are low-energy, excellent productivity brackish water reverse osmosis (RO) elements. These Oltremare COMPACT ELEMENT MODULEs combine the performance of the original LOW® (Energy Saving) elements with a plug-and-play design.

Membrane Characteristics

  • Membrane Type: Polyamide RO
  • Stabilized Salt Rejection (%):
    • 98.5 (for modules 2514 to 4021)
    • 98.8 (for module 4040)
  • Minimum Salt Rejection (%):
    • 97.0 (for modules 2514 to 4021)
    • 98.0 (for module 4040)

Test conditions for performance: 1500 ppm NaCl, 10.3 bar (150 psi), 25°C (77°F), 15% recovery, pH 6.5 - 7, 30 minutes operation. Flow rates will be no more than 15% below the values shown.

The size must be considered in a range of ±3% except for the lengths (A and B) ±3‰. The modules are sealed with small screws (to be removed when used).

Important Information

  • Start-up: Elements should be flushed for 30 minutes at low pressure, and permeate should be discarded during the flush prior to operation.
  • Cleaning: Periodic cleaning is required to ensure proper operation and prevent membrane damage.
  • Storage: Elements must be stored appropriately to ensure proper operation and prevent membrane damage.
