Summary
Product identification
The TRISEP® DS Food & Dairy UP020 Series membrane elements are designed for food and dairy applications, offering stable field performance. They feature NADIR® UP020 polyethersulfone (PES) membranes with a nominal 20,000 Da molecular weight cut-off, providing high protein rejection and high flux rates. TRISEP DS elements are built with FDA compliant materials, comply with European food regulations (EU 10/2011 and EC 1935/2004), and meet USDA standards. Elements are available with various feed spacers and in common industry sizes.
Date of specification: 07/01/2021

Important Information
- Start-up: MANN+HUMMEL Water & Fluid Solutions recommends flushing elements for 30 minutes at low pressure and discarding permeate during the flush prior to operation. For detailed procedure, refer to "Element Start-Up Guide – System Start-Up (TSG-O-005)".
- Cleaning: TRISEP® membrane elements require periodic cleaning. Refer to "Membrane Cleaning Guide – Food & Dairy: UF & MF Elements (TSG-C-004)".
- Storage: Elements must be stored appropriately. Refer to "Element Storage Guides (TSG-O-009 & TSG-O-010)".
