Summary
Product identification
The TRISEP® UF10 is a polyethersulfone (PES) ultrafiltration membrane element with a nominal molecular weight cut-off (M.W.C.O.) of 10,000 Daltons. These elements are designed for various applications, including food and dairy process applications, water purification for dialysis, and general industrial water purification.
Membrane Characteristics
- Membrane Type: Polyethersulfone (PES)
- Nominal M.W.C.O.: 10,000 Da
Design Information
The elements are available in several spiral-wound designs, all featuring a 31 mil feed spacer thickness, fiberglass outer wrap, and diamond-shaped feed spacers. All models include anti-telescoping devices (ATDs) and one brine seal. The 4040 and 8040 models also include one interconnector.

Notes:
- Shipping weight is dependent on packaging material and quantity shipped.
- For Female elements, Dimension “C” is the Inner Diameter. For Male elements, “C” is the Outer Diameter.
- Male elements have a protruding permeate tube, Dimension “D”, which is 25.4 mm (1.0 in).
Important Information
- Start-up: It is recommended to flush elements for 30 minutes at low pressure and discard permeate during the flush prior to operation. Refer to the Element Start-Up Guide – System Start-Up (TSG-O-005) for more detailed procedures.
- Cleaning: TRISEP® membrane elements require periodic cleaning to ensure proper operation and prevent membrane damage. Refer to the Membrane Cleaning Guide – Water Application Elements (TSG-C-001).
- Storage: TRISEP® membrane elements must be stored appropriately. Refer to Element Storage Guides (TSG-O-009 & TSG-O-010).
