The TURBOCLEAN® FOOD & DAIRY UP010 Series membrane elements, dated 07/01/2021, feature a patented sanitary hard-shell design. They offer approximately 60% less bypass flow compared to other sanitary elements, leading to energy savings and/or higher flux rates. This design also promotes more effective membrane cleaning due to higher cross-flow velocity. TurboClean elements are designed to be stronger than net-wrapped sanitary elements, capable of withstanding higher pressure drops, and their tight outer diameter (OD) tolerance and optimal circularity are intended for easier loading and unloading.

All models conform to USDA 3A sanitary standard 45-03, use FDA (CFR Title 21) compliant materials, comply with EU regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 and No. 10/2011, and have Halal and Kosher certifications.
Important Information
- Start-up: It is recommended to flush elements for 30 minutes at low pressure and discard the permeate during the flush prior to operation. For a more detailed start-up procedure, refer to the Element Start-Up Guide – System Start-Up (TSG-O-005).
- Cleaning: TurboClean® membrane elements require periodic cleaning to ensure proper operation and prevent membrane damage. Refer to the Membrane Cleaning Guide – Food & Dairy: UF & MF Elements (TSG-C-004).
- Storage: Elements must be stored appropriately to ensure proper operation and prevent membrane damage. Refer to Element Storage Guides (TSG-O-009 & TSG-O-010).
